I've walked by August Moon on 23rd a few times, and I'm glad I finally stopped to eat. I ordered foil wrapped chicken and vegetable egg foo young, both of which were flavorful and freshly cooked. The ambiance was enjoyable and nostalgic (it reminded me of being a kid and eating Chinese American food back home), with peaceful music and comfortable seating. The service was a pleasure - the waitress checked in on me a couple of times, offered a box for my leftovers, and thanked me on my way out. Thank you to August Moon for the pleasant experience. I will definitely be back.
The broccoli beef and lo mein are delicious! The seasoning is not so salty like some American-Chinese restaurant. The interior is also super good and I like the decoration. Overall it's a very good restaurant I totally recommend!
I was surprised to see the negative reviews people left, our experience was very different. We stopped in on a Sunday around 3pm. We were greeted at the front and seated immediately. Our food came out really fast. I was impressed by how fast it was. The food itself was absolutely delicious. We got beef curry and beef chow fun. Really enjoyed it, good portion sizes, and had fun sitting by the window. Service was good, friendly and prompt. Definitely will go back. Maybe it's because it was slow on a Sunday but I would def recommend this place based off our experience!

The duck was terrific and the house special crispy noodles were delicious. We got 2 full diners for 2 from and order of 2 entrees. Very reasonably priced and high quality.
I cannot believe I've never left a review for my favorite Chinese restaurant for the past 8 years. *TIP: Call the restaurant directly or order through their website/Beyond Menu. If you live within a 3 mile radius, they will deliver to you for free with a $20 minimum order.* This is just good Chinese food. I've tried new things off the menu over the years and have only been disappointed by the Peking Duck; I just don't think I'm a fan of duck, but the taste was phenomenal. I'm a BIG fan of their Mongolian Beef. It is absolutely perfect: the beef is slightly crispy with the scallions on top a bed of crispy noodles. Other than the Mongolian Beef, I usually get their Scallion Pancakes (simple and DELICIOUS) and Foil Wrapped Chicken (people NEED to know about this menu item). The prices are just right for the portions. I miss Chinese buffets, so I order several of their lunch specials to create my own buffet at home. I've also worked for two different companies and called on August Moon to cater. Everyone was super happy, even the vegetarians.
